THE SEASON OF THANKS.

boots14

mama is wearing:  target sweater, target pants, rainboots c/o joules.

little man is wearing: h&m sweater, walmart jeans (from the girl’s section), minnetonka mocassins.

being the season of thanks, i have recently found myself reflecting on what i am thankful for and feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude for my family.  i always knew that i wanted to be a mother, but i never truly knew just how happy it would make me.  for the first time in my life, i feel completely content with where i am.  in the past (before i had holden) i never felt confident in the direction that i was heading, always feeling a little lost about what i was supposed to do with my life, and anxious about what the future held.  but today, i feel like i am exactly where i am supposed to be.  just happy to be spend each day with the people i love most on this planet.

Love Holden’s jeans! It is a pity we have no Walmart here in Australia, would love red jeans for my little man.

Also found you via kelle … and I love that y’all are wearing walmart and target! Sometimes I give a little sigh when I see bloggers’ clothes and love them, until I click over to the price tag. Loving that you feel confident and content!

I found your blog through kelle hampton, and I just had to comment on this post. You last few words about becoming a mother are EXACTLY how I feel, to a T. Before I had my daughter 10 months ago I always felt a little lost and unsure of my direction in life and now that I have her I feel absolutely complete. Thanks for sharing your words really made my day!
