Follow along on my Pinterest for more home inspiration and our plans for our new house
Our homes in the past have always been infused with color, bold print and patterns, and lots of artwork (you can see our previous home tours here, here, and here), but this time around I’m finding myself wanting to create a completely different type of space. Maybe it’s being right on the ocean or how this house of ours is conducive to indoor-outdoor living, but I’m currently drawn to rooms that have bright white walls, warm and neutral materials, and a mixture of wood and woven textures.
Picking neutral pieces means I won’t tire of them quickly, allowing me to invest more in staple pieces and easily change up the look by switching out simple accents such as throw pillows and blankets, art, and decor pieces. We have a large open floor plan where our kitchen, dining, and living room are all combined into one great room and I am currently working to pull this space together, starting with the dining area. I’ve included my inspiration for the space below (I’m going with a neutral bohemian dining room) and how you can recreate the look yourself!
What do you think of the space??

I am lucky to have found an amazing group of women and mothers here in Southern California that I consider not only friends, but a collective team of creativeness that can make magic happen when we all put our heads together. The above shoot was one such experience. We teamed up with Free People to create a Mother’s Day Inspiration shoot for the Free People blog. We got to work with camels and wild zebras and it is an experience that I will truly never forget.

Warm nights, starry skies, sand, and sun, and surf….it’s starting to feel like summer already here in Southern California.
I stumbled across this glamorous country home over the weekend and couldn’t help but share for a little Monday inspiration. Living in the country on a large plot of land with animals is something that is constantly tugging at my heart, this gorgeous family and their country-chic home and lifestyle has me packing my bags and heading to the English countryside for good.

I fell in love with this Jose Villa rustic glam wedding and felt like it would make a stunning and chic Thanksgiving tablescape. We spend Thanksgiving with our large extended families so I won’t have the opportunity to create a Thanksgiving table setting, but if I did, this is exactly what it would look like.
